Xuanbogu Island

Situated in the northeast of Taohua Island, Xuanbogu Island spans just 0.78 square kilometers, with its highest point at 139.6 meters above sea level. The island is covered with lush woods, reeds, and thatch, and boasts a rich variety of shellfish. Its landscape features beaches, rocky shores, layered stones, caves, reefs, and cliffs—making it a perfect destination for enjoying sea cliff scenery, treasure hunting, fishing, camping, and hunting. Major attractions include Dragon Tooth Piercing the Sky, Reed Marsh Gravel Beach, Thousand-Layer Rock, Turtle Cave, and Seal Reef.

Dinghai City – Located on the back beach of Bugu Gate, it is one of the main filming sites for the movie *The Opium War* in Zhoushan. The defense of Dinghai in *The Opium War* is one of the most intense highlights of the film, depicting the tragic and heroic battle that showcases the unyielding spirit of the Chinese people. The entire city wall is 230 meters long, 12 meters wide, and reaches a maximum height of 12 meters. It includes structures such as watchtowers, antique gun emplacements, battlements, and flagpoles. With its upturned eaves, black tiles, and red walls, the wall presents an elegant, ancient, majestic, and magnificent appearance.
