The Three Loyalists Shrine is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province. Originally located within Zuoting Primary School on Hechang Lane in Dinghai, it has now been relocated to the southern ridge of Xiaofeng Ridge in Zhushan Park. It was built to commemorate the three generals—Ge Yunfei, Wang Xipeng, and Zheng Guohong—who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives against the British invading forces during the Opium War in 1841.
Located at the summit of Xiaofeng Ridge in the city area, it was built to commemorate the three generals—Ge Yunfei, Wang Xipeng, and Zheng Guohong—who died defending Dinghai against the British in 1841. Originally part of the Qisheng Temple’s Qizhong Shrine, it was expanded in the 10th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1884). The structure faces south, featuring a front hall and rear hall, each with three rooms, five side rooms, and six smaller rooms, covering a total area of over 600 square meters. A stele inscribed with “Newly Built Three Loyalists Shrine” stands in the west side chamber. The shrine was relocated to its current site in 1995. It also faces south and currently consists of a front main hall, rear main hall, east main hall, and west main hall, covering a total area of 1,015 square meters with a built-up area of 580 square meters. It is integrated with the Zhoushan Opium War Memorial Museum.
