Xiangjiaomen Bridge is the second cross-sea bridge of the Zhoushan Mainland Connecting Bridges project. Construction began in December 1999 and was completed in April 2003. The bridge spans the Xiangjiaomen Channel, connecting Lidiao Island and Fuqi Island, with a total length of 951 meters. The bridge deck is 22.5 meters wide, featuring four lanes in both directions. It has a navigational class of 500 tons, a navigational clearance height of 21 meters, and a navigational clearance width of 135 meters. The main bridge consists of large-span prestressed concrete continuous box girders measuring 80m + 150m + 80m, while the approach bridges are made of prestressed concrete T-girders using the "first simply supported, then continuous" method.

The main span of Xiangjiaomen Bridge is located in the Xiangjiaomen Channel, where the water depth exceeds 30 meters, the seabed cover layer is very thin, and the tidal current speed reaches up to 3 meters per second, making traditional bored pile technology unfeasible. The builders adopted a new technique combining large-diameter steel pipe piles with bored pile construction. They drove steel casings with a diameter of 2.74 meters and used these large-diameter casings to construct a drilling platform, enabling the successful implementation of the bored pile foundation.
