From the establishment of Wengshan County in the early Tang Dynasty, to the coastal evacuation and migration policies during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from Emperor Kangxi inscribing the name “Dinghai Mountain,” to King Yan building Xu City to avoid war, and Ge Xuan refining elixirs in Wengshan... Five 3D mini-stories let you experience different versions of Dinghai across the ages, touching the city’s memories through imagery.

Walk through the arched stone gate and step onto the “Number One Scholar Bridge” to feel the cultural charm of Dinghai as reflected in its “ancient people, ancient city, and ancient stories.”

Dinghai has long been a strategic stronghold and a battleground throughout history, destined to witness the trials of war. Transitioning from political figures to legendary military commanders, the scent of gunpowder still lingers: anti-Wokou hero Hou Jigao, the “Belly-Slash General” Lan Li, the Three Generals of Dinghai... Each familiar name and legendary tale carries the weight of Dinghai’s storied past and present.
