Yong’an River Leisure Greenway

Yong’an River Leisure Greenway is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Xianju County in Zhejiang Province is located in the western part of the coastal city Taizhou, bordering Linhai to the east, Yongjia to the south, Jinyun to the west, and Pan’an and Tiantai to the north. It lies at the intersection of Taizhou, Wenzhou, Lishui, and Jinhua. The area features spectacular peaks, unusual rocks, rushing waterfalls, serene valleys, clear streams, lush bamboo, and elegant forests, embodying the essence of “wonder, peril, clarity, and tranquility,” and combining “peaks, waterfalls, streams, and rivers.” The Xianju Greenway is constructed along natural and artificial corridors such as riverbanks, stream valleys, mountain ridges, scenic roads, and ditches, offering a space for walkers and cyclists to roam. It forms a strip-like landscape corridor that integrates closely with the natural ecological environment. The main corridor of the greenway stretches a total of 112 kilometers.
