Wenzhou Huanglongshan Park

Wenzhou Huanglongshan Park is one of the ten major urban mountain parks in Wenzhou, known for its elegant environment and beautiful scenery. For special reasons, the park has been designated as a military-themed park, attracting many military enthusiasts. The lush greenery covering the hills makes Huanglongshan a major “green lung” of Wenzhou, offering both the refreshing essence of nature and a recreational spot for locals to enjoy hiking and leisure.

Huanglongshan Park covers an area of 25.7 hectares, bordered by Lucheng Road to the north, facing Cuiwei Mountain Park across the street, extending to the bypass highway to the south, and adjacent to Cuiwei Avenue to the east. The overall project is being completed in two phases, with Phase I covering a construction area of 4.2 hectares and Phase II covering 11.8 hectares. The engineering works span both Shuangyu Subdistrict and Songtai Subdistrict in Lucheng District.

Walking westward along the bypass highway and passing the intersection with Cuiwei Avenue, continue about 700 meters west before turning into the southern entrance of Huanglongshan Park from the bustling traffic. Trees have already been planted around the entrance plaza; although their foliage cannot yet be called lush, dozens of green trees about three meters tall stand gracefully to welcome visitors. From the end of the plaza, a short climb up the steps offers a panoramic view of Huanglongshan.

In the future, Huanglongshan Park will also see the addition of a new hexagonal pavilion, further enhancing the greening along both sides of the mountain hiking trails. Additionally, a 40-meter-long military culture corridor will be built on the mountain to showcase the local military figures of distinction.
