Wulei Mountain Park: Climb Junzi Peak to Overlook the City

Location: Bordered by Jing Mountain Park to the east and Meixian Temple to the west.

Overview: The park spans both Ouhai and Lucheng districts, covering Pudong Village, Puxi Village, and Mei’yu Village in Guoxi Subdistrict of Ouhai District, as well as Oupu?? Village, Yinglouqiao Village, ??tian Village, and Ruoliyao Village in Shuangyu Subdistrict of Lucheng District, with a total area of approximately 2 square kilometers.

Highlights: The park’s planning and design integrate the entrance of Wulei Mountain Park with the plaza of the Tomb of the King of Eastern Ou, combining the cemetery culture of the royal tomb, the Taoist culture of Junzi Peak, and the ecological culture of the forest park to create a cultural highlight for Wulei Mountain Park.

The park has already built 3,000 meters of walking trails, and another 2,000 meters will be added before the end of the year.

In the second half of the year, Wulei Mountain Park plans to construct multiple rest pavilions and viewing platforms along the walking trails. Climbing Junzi Peak offers a view of parts of the city and passing high-speed trains.

Driving Route: Drive along Cuiwei Avenue to the foot of Jing Mountain. Vehicles can be parked at the main entrance plaza of the park at Oupu??, then hike up the mountain to the top of Wulei Mountain—Junzi Peak, which stands at an elevation of 199 meters.
