Ouhai White Elephant Temple
The Ouhai White Elephant Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Ouhai District.
The White Elephant Temple is located on Nanbaixiang Street in Ouhai District. Also known as Yujia Temple and Baiyun Taoist Temple, it was first built during the Zhenguan era (627–649) of the Tang Dynasty, underwent major renovations in the third year of the Chongning reign (1104) of the Song Dynasty, and was rebuilt in the late Ming Dynasty. It faces south and has a two-courtyard, five-bay layout. The main hall is 20 meters wide and 17.4 meters deep, featuring a brick-and-wood structure with a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, a principal bay supported by raised beams and secondary bays by through-tenon work, and hexagonal ancient wells on either side of the terrace.

The area has a total population of 15,557, covers an area of 12.7 square kilometers, includes 8,455 mu of arable land, and 3,441 mu of mountainous land. In 1998, the total industrial output value of the town was 600 million yuan, agricultural output value 32.2 million yuan, tertiary industry output value 46.4 million yuan, fiscal revenue 10.15 million yuan, and per capita income 5,488 yuan.
