This park is known for its ancient pines and peculiar rocks. There are 205 ancient pines over a hundred years old, each with unique shapes, standing tall and lush;

The main attraction, Hunyuan Peak (Sword Testing Stone), is about 15 meters high and covers an area of 50 square meters. It is split into four parts, as if cleaved by a sword. Legend has it that it was split by the Taoist priest Ye Fashan when he tested his sword after refining elixirs, making it quite a marvel.

The entire park features eight scenic spots: Xieqiao Chunxiao (Spring Dawn at Xie Bridge), Dan Shan Jianyu (Jade Splashing from the Cinnabar Mountain), Xianxiang Wenhe (Asking the Crane in the Immortal Village), Huan Cui Yunxiu (Emerald Haze Nurturing Beauty), Fu Song Tingtao (Listening to the Waves by the Pines), Di-Yi, Hunyuan Shi Jian (Sword Testing at Hunyuan), and Wangjiang Shuxiao (Gazing at the River and Sighing Aloud). Each spot has its own charm and they rival one another in beauty.

Located in the northern part of Heshan Town, the county seat. In ancient times, white cranes nested on the mountain, hence the names Taihe Mountain and Heshan Town.

History: Legend has it that during the Tang Dynasty, the Taoist priest Ye Fashan refined elixirs and tested his sword here. After successfully refining the elixir and attaining immortality, he rode a crane and ascended to heaven, which is why this place is ranked as the 30th Grotto-Heaven among Taoist sacred sites.
