Hanshan

Hanshan is located in Hanshan Town, Huzhou, and stands just 60 meters tall. It lies at the junction of two cities (Huzhou and Jiaxing) and three districts/counties (Nanxun, Deqing, and Tongxiang), serving as the natural central point of the golden triangle formed by Hangzhou, Huzhou, and Jiaxing. Hanshan is a sacred site for flowers and also one of the birthplaces of sericulture culture. The area has the highly celebrated custom of “Crushing Silkworm Flowers,” along with the local legend “The Silkworm Flower Goddess and the White Horse Living in Golden Mountain.”
