Nanhong Huacheng Ruins

The Nanhong Huacheng Ruins are a cultural heritage protection unit of Huzhou City.

The Nanhong Huacheng Ruins are located in Huacheng Village, Shuanglin Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. They date back to the Neolithic Age and are classified as an ancient site.

In March 1989, the Nanhong Huacheng Ruins were designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Huacheng Village: Huacheng Village is situated at the southern entrance of Shuanglin Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City. Provincial Highway Huyan runs S-shaped through the village both horizontally and vertically, while Sanxin Road cuts through the village longitudinally, connecting to the Shuanglin exit of the Shenjiahu Expressway, offering very convenient transportation. Within the village’s 4.6 square kilometer area are key commercial zones such as the Yangdao Industrial Zone of Shuanglin Town and the Shuanglin Wool Textile Market. The village currently has 22 natural villages, 30 villager groups, a total of 725 households, a population of 2,533, 2,764 mu of arable land, and 1,040 mu of mulberry fields.
