Miaotoujiao Site

The Miaotoujiao Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Huzhou City.

The Miaotoujiao Site is located in Dongyida Village, Qianjin Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It dates from the Neolithic Age to the Shang, Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties, and is classified as an ancient site.

In February 2011, the Miaotoujiao Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Dongyida Village: Dongyida Village in Qianjin Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, is an ancient water town on the plain, situated in the southeastern part of Qianjin Town and bordering Xincheng Town of Deqing County. In October 2001, during the administrative village adjustment of Qianjin Town, the former Dongyida and Jucheng villages were merged to form the current Dongyida Village. It now has 25 villager groups, with 732 households and a population of 2,537. The total area of the village is 5 square kilometers. It enjoys convenient land and water transportation, with the county-level Lingxin Highway running through the village, and tributaries of the Grand Canal — Yangxi Port and Paitang Port — flowing around the village.
