Jitang Bridge

Jitang Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Huzhou City.

Jitang Bridge is located in Shicong Village, Shicong Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It dates back to the modern era and falls under the category of significant historical sites and representative architecture.

In November 2015, Jitang Bridge was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site.

Shicong Village:

Shicong Village is situated in the northeastern part of Shicong Town. The area features flat terrain and is densely crisscrossed with rivers and ponds, representing a typical water town landscape in the Jiangnan region. The village borders Yaojiaba Village to the east, Yinziqiao Village to the south, Zhennxi Village to the west, and Zhangcun Village of Hefu Town to the north. The total area of the village is 4.71 square kilometers. The Wallmo Highway runs through the village, providing very convenient transportation.

There are 19 natural villages within the village area, with a total of 737 households and a population of 2,643. The arable land covers an area of 2,421 mu. Shicong Village has seen rapid development in both industrial and agricultural economies, with coordinated growth across primary, secondary, and tertiary industries.
