Shezhong Village: Located 8 kilometers southwest of Linghu Town, Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Shezhong Village comprises 18 natural villages and 38 villager groups, covering a total area of 5.5 square kilometers. The village seat, Shezhong Village (formerly known as Shecun), is one of Huzhou’s well-known ancient villages. It is also called Shicun or Baoxi. The Qing Dynasty’s "Guian County Annals" recorded: “There used to be a market here, called the Shezhong Village Market.” It is said to be the place where the legendary archer Houyi shot down nine suns, and the ancient village was thus named accordingly.
