Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park is located to the west of the Huishuguan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Suzhou, bordered by Yangshan Ring Road to the east and west, Taihu Avenue to the south, and Xingxian Road to the north. With a planned area of 1,029.8 hectares, it was approved as Suzhou Dayangshan Provincial Forest Park by the Jiangsu Forestry Bureau on June 20, 2005, and on February 10, 2009, it was approved as Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park by the National Forestry Bureau. The park features forest ecological recreation and integrates functions such as ecological conservation, leisure vacation, science education, and cultural sightseeing, making it a comprehensive urban forest park.

The overall planning of the forest park divides the entire area into five zones: Shushan Scenic Area, Hot Spring Resort Area, Forest Wellness and Leisure Area, Botanical Garden Scenic Area, and one reserved area. It highlights four major thematic features: “forest, culture, countryside, and hot springs.” Leveraging its rich forest tourism resources, the park offers a variety of ecological recreational activities such as wellness retreats, leisure vacations, and science education.

Among the major scenic areas of the forest park, the Shushan Scenic Area and the Hot Spring Resort Area in the north have been developed and opened to visitors. In accordance with the requirements of the Master Plan, the currently under development areas are the Forest Wellness and Leisure Area and the Botanical Garden Scenic Area, which are being implemented in three sections: east, south, and west.

From Nanjing: Take the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway → transfer to the Western Suzhou Ring Road → exit at Tianchishan → turn left onto Taihu Avenue → turn left at Jianlin Road → turn left at the junction of Jianlin Road and Hongxi Road → proceed along Hongxi Road → turn right at Shiyang Road, go to the end and turn left → Yangshan

From Shanghai: Take G42 → Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway → head toward Suzhou New District/G312 → take G312 National Road (do not get on the elevated road) → turn left at Hongxi Road → turn right at Shiyang Road, go to the end and turn left → Yangshan

From Hangzhou: Take the Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway → transfer to the Western Suzhou Ring Road, head toward East-West Mountain area → exit at Tianchishan → turn left onto Taihu Avenue → turn left at Jianlin Road → turn left at the junction of Jianlin Road and Hongxi Road → proceed along Hongxi Road → turn right at Shiyang Road, go to the end and turn left → Yangshan

The Botanical Garden Scenic Area ticket is 40 RMB, the Wenshu Temple Scenic Area ticket is 40 RMB, or you can purchase a combined ticket for both areas for 70 RMB.
