China Embroidery Art Museum

The China Embroidery Art Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a science education base.

The China Embroidery Art Museum is situated on the west side of the Embroidery Street in Zhenhu, covering an area of over 8,000 square meters and a construction area of more than 5,000 square meters. The museum features the architectural style and landscape design of traditional Jiangnan homes and Suzhou gardens. Inside, there are exhibition halls for China’s four major embroidery styles, displays of embroidery works by masters and notable artists, an embroidery history hall, an exhibition hall for Jiangsu and Zhenhu embroidery, as well as an embroidery demonstration area. Here, visitors can not only appreciate the artistic charm of various embroidery styles from across the country, but also learn about silk-related crafts such as mulberry cultivation, silkworm rearing, silk reeling, dyeing, and weaving. They can watch live embroidery performances by skilled embroiderers and even try their hand at embroidery themselves.
