The Changshu Clothing City Shopping & Tourism Area is situated in Jiangsu Changshu Merchants City at the southern end of Changshu’s ancient city. Established in May 1985, after 18 years of development, it has grown into one of the largest wholesale markets for clothing and apparel in China.
China Changshu Clothing City covers an area of 3.71 square kilometers and includes 35 specialized markets, housing 28,000 shops, over 5,000 clothing and apparel brands, and more than 80,000 domestic and international merchants. It receives an average daily foot traffic of over 200,000 visitors and handles around 2,500 tons of freight daily. The complex has established 247 dedicated passenger and freight routes connecting to over 1,000 cities across China. The Clothing City currently features key areas such as the Fashion Center, Men’s Wear Center, Pants Industry Center, Marriott International Textile City, and Central Cultural Square. It also includes markets for hardware and decorative fabrics, making Changshu Merchants City a comprehensive leisure, entertainment, shopping, and tourism destination.
