Standing at 522 meters, Tongguanshan is the second highest peak in Jiangsu. Rich in resources and blessed with stunning scenery, the Yixing Tongguanshan Pumped Storage Power Station, with a total investment of 5.9 billion yuan, is one of the largest investment projects in Yixing’s history. The main components of the project include an upper reservoir, a lower reservoir, and a pumped storage power generation system. The upper reservoir will be built on the mountain top, with a relative height of over 60 meters, a length of more than 520 meters, and a water storage capacity of over 5.2 million cubic meters. It forms a massive man-made “heavenly lake” that rivals a “sky pond.” The Tongfeng Heavenly Lake boasts rippling blue waters, layered green mountains, deep valleys, and uniquely shaped rocks and trees. The picturesque landscape of lake and mountain creates a scene full of poetic charm.
