The Tomb of Jiang Yuanshu is a cultural heritage protection unit of Suzhou City.

Located to the south of the Baiyun Management Area in the Yushan Forest Farm, the tomb faces north and covers an area of approximately 340 square meters. The earthen mound has a base diameter of 5.2 meters and a height of 1.3 meters. Behind the mound stands a stele inscribed with “Tomb of Jiang Yuanshu, Magistrate of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty.” The site includes an outer wall, a worship platform, and a tomb path over 10 meters long. Jiang Yuanshu (1739–1781), courtesy name Zhongsheng, art name Xiangyan, was the second son of Jiang Pu, Grand Secretary of the East Hall in the Qing Dynasty, and once served as Magistrate of Taiwan. According to Yan Rusu’s Changzhao Annals from the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty, he “died upon completing his term and returning home,” but the inscription on the tomb stele erected by his sons Jige, Jihou, and Jiheng states that he “died in Fujian.” After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the tomb mound was once destroyed. In 1984, a tomb epitaph was discovered at the foot of the mountain, recording that he was buried in the 47th year of Qianlong (1782), with the text composed by Ji Huang and calligraphy by Chen Guisen. The tomb was restored in 1986. It was designated as a cultural heritage protection unit of Changshu City in November 1982.
