The Tomb of Tang Hongpei is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou City.

Tomb of Tang Hongpei

Located in Baoyan Bay at the western foot of Yushan Mountain. Facing south with its back against Yushan, the entire tomb complex is divided into two parts and serves as the family burial ground of the Tang Hongpei lineage, with a total built-up area of approximately 140.83 square meters. The Tomb of Tang Hongpei is situated on the eastern side of the complex, serving as the joint burial site of Tang Hongpei and his wife, and is uniquely enclosed by its own outer wall (luocheng). Its earthen mound is constructed of cement, standing 1.5 meters high with a diameter of 2.5 meters. In front of the mound stands a stele inscribed with “Tomb of the Late Tang Gongzi Liang and His Wife, Madam Yu.” The tomb path extends over 30 meters and features a single-bay, sky-piercing stone memorial archway and a stele pavilion. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City in June 2007.
