Huizhou Guild Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou City.

Huizhou Guild Hall

Originally located on Xizhuang Street in the urban area, it was relocated and rebuilt on Wenchang Street in Guli Town, Changshu City in 2007. It was jointly funded and purchased by Huizhou merchants residing in Changshu during the mid-Qing Dynasty. Major renovations were carried out during the Guangxu period. The original site covered approximately 10 acres, enclosed by high walls, and featured various landscapes such as halls, a moon-shaped river, stone bridges, and rockeries. A waterway connected it to Shanghu Lake, and it also borrowed scenery from Yushan Mountain, offering beautiful views. After the Republican era, it gradually fell into disrepair. Today, three courtyards of the original buildings remain. The main hall of the second courtyard faces south and is situated to the north, with an overall width and depth of about 13 meters, and a eave height of 8.5 meters. The wooden structure features dougong brackets and bracket arms, and the interior includes painted beams and carved columns. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City in November 1982.
