Located at No. 42 Nanjingtang in the urban area, it was the residence built during the Qing Dynasty's Tongzhi era by Zhang Zhi, a native of the town who served as Salt Tax Commissioner of Jinshan Salt Field under the Two Zhejiangs region with the rank of Tongzhi, and was named “Yongren Hall.” His eldest son Yuhe and second son Yugan, a Doctor of the Taichang Temple, successively lived here. It is a Qing Dynasty–era building, facing south and comprising four courtyards. The first and second courtyards are laid out in a quadrangle style. The third courtyard is a main hall with a flush gable roof, spanning five bays (22.7 meters) in width and 11.5 meters in depth, featuring a front-facing covered porch and granite column bases. The fourth courtyard is a two-story building. It was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Changshu City in November 1982.
