The Dayi Fengyi Filial Piety Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou City.

Located at Beizhuang Bridge in Fengyi Village, Dayi, Yushan Town. Facing south and housed within a single room built specifically for it, this single-bay, sky-piercing stone archway was jointly erected in the 52nd year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty by Jiangsu Governor Qi Feng, Suzhou Prefect Hu Shiyuan, and others. The archway is 3.35 meters tall, 3.88 meters wide, and 0.33 meters thick. At the top center of the main plaque is a “Sacred Edict” tablet, and the central part of the plaque is inscribed with “The Late Confucian Scholar Fan Xianhan’s Wife, Lady [Name], of Dayi, Honored by the Imperial Court of the Qing Dynasty.” The text is in regular script, with smaller characters below, and features carved relief images. The lower section is adorned with reliefs symbolizing virtues such as “Three Obediences and Four Virtues,” making it a well-preserved example of such archways in the region. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City in June 2007.
