Located on the east side of Wenchang Street in Guli Town, it is a Qing Dynasty building facing south with its back to the north. Originally, "Dunhou Hall" featured small bridges over flowing water, pavilions, towers, and even a chapel, covering an area of approximately 2,500 square meters. Currently, two courtyards remain, occupying a total area of 283.7 square meters. The first courtyard consists of three rooms with eight bays, while the second has four rooms with eight bays. Both have flush gable roofs with firewalls, and the surrounding areas are interconnected by corridors, forming a covered walkway-style layout reminiscent of a traditional horse-riding pavilion. This architecture showcases the typical style of private Ming and Qing gardens in southern Jiangsu. It was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Changshu City in June 2007.

Guli Town: Guli Town is a nationally recognized historical and cultural town as well as a national sanitary town, situated in the eastern suburbs of Changshu City. It boasts significant geographical advantages—just 5 km from downtown Changshu, with National Highway 204 running through it. It lies 89 km from Shanghai to the east, 48 km from Suzhou to the south, 54 km from Wuxi to the west, and borders the Yangtze River to the north. It is also just 10 km from Changshu Port and the planned Sutong Bridge. The ongoing construction of the Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway’s Changshu East Interchange is located in Guli. The Qingdun Tang and Baimao Tang waterways run through the town, making both land and water transportation extremely convenient.
