Located at No. 68, East Street, Zhītáng Town, on the eastern end of Jíxián Bridge, it was the former residence of Zhang Qinglian (purchased from the Yao family by Zhang Qinglian’s great-great-grandfather). Originally built during the Jiaqing and Daoguang reigns of the Qing Dynasty. The surviving second section (Mǐshèng Hall) consists of a three-bay main hall with one wing room on each side, facing south, with a flush gable roof. It spans 12.7 meters in width and 8.2 meters in depth over seven bays, with a front porch and a flipping eave, featuring wing-like brackets. The wooden carvings inside are exquisitely crafted, possessing high artistic value. It was announced as a cultural relics protection unit of Changshu City in June 2007.

Zhītáng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Changshu City. It was called Zhītáng Town in 1949, changed to a township in 1957, to a commune in 1958, reverted to a township in 1983, and became a town again in 1986. Located in the southeastern part of the city, it is 24 kilometers from the urban area. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers with a population of 31,000, National Highway 204 passes through the town, and the Baimao Pond and Yantie Pond converge north of the town.
