Zhongxiang Miu Residence is a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou.

Zhongxiang Miu Residence

It is located in Zhongxiang, within the urban area. It is a Qing Dynasty building, facing south with a gable-and-hip roof and a brick-and-wood structure. Currently, three sections remain, covering a total floor area of approximately 960 square meters. The first and second sections are both single-storey, with overall widths of 16.3 and 17.6 meters respectively, and depths of 5.2 and 8.1 meters. The third section is a two-storey building, with an overall width of 17.6 meters and a depth of 9.1 meters. In terms of layout, the second and third sections, along with the two-storey wing rooms on their left and right sides, form a courtyard-style structure, with corridors connecting the buildings on the exterior. Among these, the brick-carved gate tower at the rear of the first section, the painted patterns on the beams of the second section, and the white ceiling floral designs of the third section are all well preserved. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City in June 2009.
