It is situated within the former site of the Fifth People’s Hospital on Zhou Shenmiao Lane in the urban area. The building faces south with a flush gable roof and was built during the Republican era. The overall structure is a two-story building with a concave-shaped layout. The front is a fully wooden two-and-a-half-story building, and both the first and second floors feature wooden corridors that connect to the side wings. These corridors are elaborately decorated. The side wings are built in a Western-style imitation brick-concrete structure, featuring decorative elements such as moldings and arches. The architectural style blends Chinese and Western influences, which is quite rare and holds certain reference value for the study of the development of local architectural styles. It was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in May 2017.
