Located on South Fushan Street in Haoyu Town, this was the residence of the Zhao family. It faces west and was built along an east-west axis, featuring a flush-gable roof and a brick-and-wood structure, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Three sections of single-story buildings remain, covering a total area of approximately 608 square meters. The first section is the entrance gatehouse, which is 15.2 meters wide across five bays and 10.7 meters deep across seven rafters, with a brick-carved gate tower at the rear and a fireproof wall on the outside. The second section is the main house, which is 16.7 meters wide across five bays and 8.9 meters deep across seven rafters, featuring a front-turned veranda. The third section is the rear house, which is 19.3 meters wide across five bays and 7.8 meters deep across seven rafters, with a front corridor and granite column bases. It was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site in June 2009.

Haoyu Town: At 121°18′ east longitude and 31°50′ north latitude lies the famous city of Changshu, described as "seven streams flow to the sea, ten miles of green hills halfway enter the city." Haoyu Town is situated in the beautiful northern part of Changshu.

In the fourth year of the Taikang era during the Western Jin Dynasty (283 AD), the area of Changshu belonged to Yuxiang in Wuxian County, hence Haiyu County was established and administered under Wu Commandery. It was named Haiyu because it borders the sea to the east. The new Haoyu Town was established on June 28, 1999, under the jurisdiction of Changshu City, and inherited the ancient county name "Haiyu."
