The Site of the Communist Party of China Changshu County Congress is a Suzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

Lianzhu Cave, located on the mountainside behind Xingfu Temple at the northern foot of Yushan Mountain. The cave entrance is 1.74 meters high and 3.60 meters wide, with a depth of 15.5 meters, an interior width of 11.78 meters, and a height of 1.77 meters inside. A hole in the cave ceiling lets through a year-round flowing mountain spring that sprinkles down like a string of pearls, hence the name. The characters “Lian Zhu Dong” (Liangzhu Cave) are inscribed at the cave entrance. In front of the cave there used to be Lianzhu Nunnery, built during the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty, but it has been destroyed. In July 1928, the CPC Changshu County Committee secretly held its congress in the cave. In August of the same year, the CPC Jinghu Special Committee also held a secret joint meeting here for the heads of the peasant movement from the three counties of Cheng, Xi, and Yu. This site was designated as a municipal cultural relics protection unit on November 17, 1982.
