Located on the Yantie River in the Zhitan town area, it was built during the Qing Dynasty and is a square-shaped single-arch stone slab bridge made of granite. Constructed in the Qing Dynasty and renovated several times afterward, the bridge has an arrow height of 2.8 meters. Its deck is paved with 13 granite blocks, is 1.5 meters wide, and the approaches on the east and west sides are about 3.2 meters wide. The span is 5.9 meters, and the total length is around 15 meters. Both ends have six steps. It is currently a controlled heritage building of Changshu City. In June 2013, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City.

It was called Zhitan Town in 1949, changed to a township in 1957, a commune in 1958, reverted to a township in 1983, and became a town again in 1986. National Highway 204 passes through it, and the Bai Mao River and Yantie River converge north of the town.
