Xu Shi Gu Mansion

Located at No. 9 Xishi West Street, Dongbang Town, it is a Qing Dynasty official-style building with three courtyards. The second courtyard features the main hall, which has three bays and seven rafters, a front-facing covered porch, and a brick-carved gate tower (built in the year of Jiwei, 1859) at the rear. Constructed in the flat-beam raised-beam style, the main beam features a bronze decorative motif symbolizing “promotion in three ranks,” showcasing significant architectural value. It was announced as a cultural heritage site protected by Changshu City in June 2011.
