Hexi Central Park

The park is situated at the convergence of the commercial axis of Hexi Avenue and the business axis of Jiangdong Middle Road in the Hexi Central Business District, serving as the central axis point of the district, and spans an area of 100,000 square meters.

It was opened to the public for free on May Day 2008. The ground level emphasizes ecological design, landscapes, and water features, while also featuring leisure amenities such as tea houses and restaurants. The underground houses the largest civil air defense project in East China.

The basement level of the park is mainly dedicated to entertainment and commerce, currently housing the French supermarket Carrefour. The second basement level is a large underground parking lot with space for 1,200 vehicles. Hexi Central Park is also a transfer station for Metro Line 1, which is currently in operation, and Metro Line 2, which was completed in 2010.
