Nanhu Park is located south of Mochou Lake in the western part of the city. It is Nanjing’s first open-loop living water park and was fully opened to visitors at the end of 2007. Facing Mochou Lake Park across the street and situated opposite Heping Civic Square, it serves as another great leisure spot for residents in the Hexi area. Covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters, including around 60,000 square meters of water surface, the park features a people-oriented design with four main functional zones: the Civic Plaza, Cultural Plaza, Extreme Sports Plaza, and East Garden.
