Baima Park is situated at the junction of lakes and hills within the Zhongshan Scenic Area, a national key scenic spot. Covering nearly 500 acres, it exemplifies the unique blend of Nanjing’s mountains, waters, urban areas, and forests. Developed by the Zhongshan Mausoleum Administration with a “stone carving” design theme, the park skillfully integrates the area’s cultural elements and natural topography. It showcases hundreds of precious stone carving artifacts that were originally scattered around Nanjing and difficult to preserve or exhibit. These are displayed thoughtfully alongside landscaping with plants such as pink peach blossoms, forming Nanjing’s first specialized pink peach garden. It is a large urban landscape garden that blends educational value with leisure, offering a rich historical and cultural atmosphere along with a distinctly modern flair.

Baima Park is also China’s first art park themed around the exhibition of stone sculptural relics. With its innovative concept, clear theme, and unique content, it displays the abundant cultural resources and distinctive cultural identity of the ancient capital, Nanjing, reflecting the accumulation of stone carving art and culture across different eras. The park’s developers have integrated these ancient and valuable relics with the naturally magnificent environment, demonstrating that the park embodies the wisdom of both the ancestors of the Chinese nation and the contemporary people of Nanjing.
