Changjing Ming-Qing Street is located in the northern part of Changjing Town, running from north to south. The street stretches 420 meters, connecting to Yungu Road in the north, facing Changjing River in the south, and linking to the Old Changjing Street in the east. It covers a total area of 22,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 30,000 square meters and a total investment of 90 million yuan. It is a Ming-Qing style commercial street that integrates leisure, entertainment, dining, shopping, and other business formats. Developed and constructed by Jiangyin Hongcheng Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., the project follows the overall protection and development plan for the historical and cultural district of Changjing Town. With the goals of first-class design, architecture, and brands, it engaged renowned domestic ancient architecture designers and specialized traditional construction teams for the project's decoration. Construction of the Ming-Qing Street project began in September 2009 and was completed in September 2010 after one year. The street features classic and elegant archways, whitewashed walls with black tiles, and red-painted wooden railings, exuding a rich traditional charm. The independently owned street-front shops offer a full range of business formats, and there is a dedicated eco-friendly parking lot that is thoughtfully designed and fully functional. The classic ancient Chinese architectural style harmonizes beautifully with the renovated Old Changjing Street, and several well-known domestic brand stores have already set up shops in the commercial area.
