Jiulian Chan Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Jiulian Chan Temple, also known as Jiulian Nunnery, is located at the southern foot of Huashan Mountain in Nanzha Subdistrict. Originally built during the Song Dynasty, it is said to be one of the "Ten Directions' Jiulian." The temple preserves a stone threshold from its mountain gate (which is still used as the threshold for the new gate), as well as two ancient wells over 600 years old known as the "Twin-Eyed Wells." To the west lies the tomb of Zhang Gun, a grand secretary of the Ming Dynasty, while to the east is the ancestral burial ground of the Ge family, a prominent clan in Jiangyin. Fifty meters up the steps behind the temple’s rear courtyard lies the site of one of the ancient "Eight Scenic Spots of Huashan" — "Cold Spring Reflecting the Moon."

Nanzha Subdistrict: Nanzha Subdistrict is located in the southern suburbs of Jiangyin City, situated in the beautiful and fertile Taihu Plain and within the economically prosperous region of the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou area. It is just 6 kilometers from Jiangyin Port and 11 kilometers from Zhangjiagang Port, both national first-class open ports, and only 3 kilometers from the exits of the Xicheng Expressway and the Xinchang Railway. The bustling Xicheng Highway and Xu Xiake Avenue run through the subdistrict, making transportation extremely convenient and fostering rapid development in its economy and social services.
