Chengdong Jesus Church is a cultural tourism attraction.

The church is located on Hebei Street in Chengjiang Subdistrict. Originally built in the 21st year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1895), it is called “Chengdong Jesus Church.” It features a Western-style structure with white brick veneer, has 10 rooms, and a bell tower topped with a red cross that reaches a height of 33.8 meters.

Chengjiang Subdistrict: Located in the central urban area of Jiangyin, Chengjiang Subdistrict is home to the municipal Party committee and government, and serves as the city’s political, economic, and cultural center. It covers a total area of 124.3 square kilometers (including the Chengdong New District Office), governs 49 community neighborhood committees and 22 village committees. By the end of 2008, it had a registered population of 229,403 and a migrant population of 108,458.
