Moon City Twin Bridges

The Moon City Twin Bridges are located in Shuangqiao Village, Mooncheng Town. Originally built in the seventh year of the Ming Dynasty's Tianshun era (1463), they are also known as Qinwang Bridge. The bridges feature an elegant design with slender arches, and the arch stones are engraved with lotus pedestal motifs and the names of donors, making them the foremost surviving Ming-era bridges in Jiangyin.

Mooncheng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiangyin City. Established as Mooncheng Town in 1949, it was renamed Mooncheng Township in 1951, converted to a people's commune in 1958, reverted to township status in 1983, and became a town again in 1991. Located in the southwestern part of the city, it is 14 kilometers from downtown Jiangyin and 29 kilometers from downtown Wuxi. Covering an area of 40 square kilometers with a population of 43,000, it is traversed by the Xicheng Highway and Yueheng Highway, both connecting to nearby dedicated interchanges of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. The Xicheng Canal and the under-construction Xinchang Railway also run through the area.
