The Former Residence of Zhou Shaomei is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Former Residence of Zhou Shaomei is located on Renmin Road in Gushan Town. Zhou Shaomei was a modern ethnic instrumental performer and music educator who pioneered the three-finger erhu playing technique. He left behind famous traditional music pieces such as “The Breezy Tune of Emperor Shun.” The residence was renovated in November 2007. Its main structure is a Qing Dynasty building featuring a flush-gable roof and a brick-and-wood structure, with five bays in width and seven bays in depth, along with an eastern wing room.

Gushan Town: Known as the hometown of red beans, Gushan Town is situated at the junction of Jiangyin, Wuxi, Changshu, and Zhangjiagang. It lies to the west of the Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, north of the Zhangjiagang port, south of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, and east of Shanghai, serving as a transportation hub for the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou area.
