The Memorial Hall of Martyr Zhou Shuiping is a classic red tourism destination.

The Memorial Hall of Martyr Zhou Shuiping is located in Zhoudong Village, Shuiping Village, Gushan Town. Zhou Shuiping was a native of Gushan. In March 1925, he joined the Chinese Communist Party. Following the May Thirtieth Incident, he presided over the National Diplomatic Support Assembly in Chuansha. In October of that year, he initiated the establishment of the Tenants’ Cooperative Self-Rescue Association, and in November, he gave a speech at the Gushan Temple Fair. Soon after, he was arrested by the warlord government. Remaining steadfast in prison, he was executed on January 17, 1926. After Zhou Shuiping’s death, Mao Zedong published an article titled "The Suffering of Jiangsu-Zhejiang Farmers and Their Movement" in the magazine Guide, in which he described how Zhou Shuiping, who sacrificed his life for the peasant movement, was deeply supported by the farmers.
