Jiangyin Military Culture Museum

The Jiangyin Military Culture Museum is located on the eastern side of Ebi Mountain Park, with the "First Boat to Cross the Yangtze" — the vessel used by the million-strong People's Liberation Army during the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign — displayed outside the gate. The museum consists of six exhibition halls across two floors, showcasing military culture related to Jiangyin through photographs and artifacts. Inside the courtyard, there are 11 cannons from the Qing army, and the surrounding area preserves war relics built during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, including 12 Huangshan Forts distributed in the Greater and Lesser Shiwang areas, as well as tunnels, troop shelters, and ammunition depots — making it a vivid educational resource for military history.

Chengjiang Subdistrict: Chengjiang Subdistrict is situated in the downtown area of Jiangyin and serves as the location of the Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, as well as the political, economic, and cultural center of the city. Covering a total area of 124.3 square kilometers (including the Chengdong New Town Office), it governs 49 community committees and 22 village committees. By the end of 2008, it had a registered population of 229,403 and a migrant population of 108,458.
