Xinqiao Waterscape Park

The waterscape park is located on Dazhen Road in Xinqiao Town. Making full use of the existing water system and ecological conditions, the park creates scenic views using natural elements, blending natural landscapes with man-made imitations. Stretching along the river in a linear layout, it features structures such as the “Evening Chorus Pavilion,” “Riverside Cottage,” “Ligeng Mountain House,” and “Surrounded-by-Jade Pavilion.”

Xinqiao Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiangyin City. Established as Xinqiao Township in 1951, it was merged into Tangshi Township in 1955, re-established as Xinqiao Commune in 1962, changed back to Xinqiao Township in 1983, and upgraded to a town in 1991. Located in the southeastern part of the city, it is 25 kilometers from downtown Jiangyin and 40 kilometers from downtown Wuxi. Covering an area of 19.3 square kilometers with a population of 22,000, it is traversed east-west by the Chenglu Highway and north-south by the Taixin Highway.
