Yuecheng Shuiyun Bridge

Yuecheng Shuiyun Bridge is located on Nanhuang Road in Yuecheng Town. It starts from Yueqian Road, heads eastward over Hongqi Road, and crosses the Xicheng Canal. From the observation tower at the bridgehead, looking north, you can see vast waters and distant mountains shrouded in mist, willow-lined banks meandering along the emerald waters, dark-hued mountains stretching to the sky, the clear canal flanked by willow-draped embankments, and wisps of cooking smoke rising — a scene of serene harmony.

Yuecheng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiangyin City. Established as Yuecheng Town in 1949, it was renamed Yuecheng Township in 1951, reverted to a commune in 1958, changed back to a township in 1983, and became a town again in 1991. It is located in the southwestern part of the city, 14 kilometers from downtown Jiangyin and 29 kilometers from downtown Wuxi. Covering an area of 40 square kilometers with a population of 43,000, it is traversed by the Xicheng Highway and Yueheng Highway, both connecting to nearby dedicated exits of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway.
