Jiangyin Guanyin Culture Expo Park

The Jiangyin Guanyin Culture Expo Park is a key major project identified by the municipal Party committee and government as part of the Xu Xiake Cultural Tourism Zone, as well as a key project in the development zone construction of the six southern towns of Jiangyin. Currently, the project covers a total area of 209 mu, including 151 mu for the Wukong Temple area and 58 mu for the exhibition and reception center, integrating Buddhist worship, sightseeing, exhibitions, and tourism.

The exhibition and reception center consists of the Guanyin Culture Exhibition Hall, a vegetarian restaurant, a central garden, and a reception center. It was completed in October 2010 and has since begun receiving visitors for exhibitions and tours. The Guanyin Culture Exhibition Hall covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 50 million yuan.

The Guanyin Culture Expo Park combines modern technology, using sound, light, and electricity effects to provide a comprehensive and systematic introduction to the life of Master Sengqie, allowing visitors to clearly understand the story of Master Sengqie, an incarnation of Guanyin, as well as the origin of the sarira unearthed from the Huazang Pagoda. This helps enhance public understanding of the Buddhist history of Qingyang and Jiangyin, making it a major highlight of the entire Guanyin Culture Expo Park. In addition, the temporary exhibition hall displays several treasures from the Buddhist world.
