Located in the spherical area of Nantong Sports & Exhibition Center, namely on the first floor of the new Sports & Exhibition Center at Gongnong Road, Nantong. Invested and developed by Taizhou Zhongtai Tourism Development Co., Ltd., it is a large-scale marine aquarium integrating marine life exhibitions, science education, tourism, leisure, and entertainment shopping, as well as a modern marine theme park.

The total construction area of the aquarium is 5,000 square meters, featuring ten major thematic zones: Tropical Rainforest Zone, Amphibian and Reptile Zone, Polar Zone, Coral Reef Fish Zone, Shark Viewing Zone, and Underwater Tunnel Zone, among others. It showcases over 800 species and more than 10,000 individual marine animals.

Seal Performance: Two spotted seals, which are second-class protected animals in China from the Bohai Sea, perform tricks such as pushing balls, backstroke swimming, ring catching, and ball balancing. They can also understand some simple human gestures and commands, often using eye contact to communicate with their trainers during performances.

Touch Pool: Here you’ll find familiar creatures like little sea turtles, hermit crabs, starfish, and even the living fossil that has existed on Earth for 400 million years—the Chinese horseshoe crab. Horseshoe crabs are deep-sea animals, and because their blood contains copper ions, it is uniquely blue. In the water, horseshoe crabs are often seen in pairs. The female has four pincer-like legs, while the male has four hook-like ones, so the male hooks onto the female’s back, letting his “wife” carry him around—earning them the nickname “underwater mandarin ducks.”

Underwater Tunnel: The underwater tunnel is 50 meters long and consists of three connected tunnels, representing the highlight of the aquarium. The viewing panels are made of highly transparent acrylic glass, which creates different visual effects no matter from which angle you view the fish due to its unique properties.
