The Hongkou District Archives serves as a Patriotic Education Base.

The Patriotic Education Base (Exhibition Room), located in the Archives Management Center, covers an area of 38 square meters and is an independent exhibition space. The Hongkou District Archives introduces the history, culture, and development of Hongkou. The exhibits include revolutionary books, military medals, awards, certificates, and merit citations donated to the archives by retired cadres in the district, as well as land deeds from the Qianlong era, household registration records from the Republican period, stamp collections, the Special Olympics flag signed by heads of delegations and all athletes staying in Hongkou during the 2007 Special Olympics, and sports caps from the Hongkou competition zone. The exhibition highlights the historical features of Hongkou through archival materials, showcases the district’s humanistic heritage, reflects the archival collection achievements of the Hongkou District Archives, and serves as a long-term exhibition venue for government officials and community groups.
