Situated at No. 943 Zhongshan South Road in Shanghai, Nanpu Bridge was completed and opened on December 1, 1991. With a total length of 8,346 meters, the main bridge stretches 846 meters and features a main span of 423 meters. The navigational clearance height is 46 meters, enabling 55,000-ton ships to sail underneath. It is currently the world’s fourth-largest double-tower, double-cable plane cable-stayed bridge. The H-shaped main tower stands 150 meters tall and bears the four Chinese characters “Nan Pu Da Qiao” (Nanpu Bridge), handwritten by [Comrade's Name]. The bridge has six vehicle lanes, with a total width of 30.35 meters, including 2-meter-wide sidewalks on both sides. Visitors can take elevators to the main bridge deck to enjoy the breathtaking views along both banks of the Huangpu River.
