The Bund 18 Creative Center is designed as a multifunctional space for cross-disciplinary use. With an 800-square-meter exhibition area and a ceiling height of 4.5 meters, it will be one of Shanghai’s most sought-after venues for exhibitions and parties. Spacious floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the entire space in ample light and showcase the charming scenery of the Huangpu River, with the bustling landscape of Lujiazui visible across the river.

Nowadays there are more and more fashionable art venues, and the luxury of the Bund 18 building goes without saying. The last exhibition I attended was the Vivienne Westwood Global Retrospective. This exhibition was the first international-level show at the Bund 18 Creative Center to integrate art, design, and creativity since its opening, and it has also become the highest-profile fashion exhibition held in Shanghai to date. It is recommended that you ask the staff to find an interpreter for you (the staff there are quite polite and professional), which will help you better understand the works and their underlying meanings—otherwise, the large collection of garments, accessories, and images might be a bit difficult to fully grasp.
