The History Room of Shanghai Chengneng Middle School is a patriotism education base.

Chengneng Middle School is renowned in Shanghai as a “bastion of democratic revolution and cradle of patriotic heroes.” Its school history proudly records the heroic deeds of eight young patriots who sacrificed their lives for national liberation and the founding of New China. The school has erected a group sculpture of the eight martyrs on campus to commemorate and honor these revolutionary predecessors.
