The Huangpu District Archives is the only comprehensive archives in the district, housing a rich collection of historical records that document the 700-year history of the old town area, over 160 years of the port-opening era, as well as the founding of New China and the reform and opening-up period. It offers a comprehensive portrayal of the local customs and rapid development of Huangpu District.
